My husband and I moved to Seoul from Northern Virginia right after we got married in 2007. Since then, we moved 6 times, had 2 kids + adopted 1. And yes, we are Washington fans.
I never imagined that I would live here for over 10 years. Since we're uncertain how many more years we'll be in Seoul, I wanted to do something to make my time here more meaningful.
On SeoulfulFamily.com, I will write weekly updates about my family in general as an expat family. The things I am interested in are kids schooling, living tips in Seoul, and the struggles and blessings of living abroad. Most importantly, the majority of my posts will be about the small adventures that we take as a family here in Korea. I have three energetic kids and I am always looking for ways to entertain them while my husband and I have fun too. So hopefully, I will be sharing a lot on kid friendly places that we actually visit. I am really excited about this since I love exploring and discovering new places and having fun.
Many people think we are crazy to take so many trips with our young ones, but we do it because we are here in Korea for a limited time and we can only live this moment once. I also do it because sometimes I need to get away from the busyness of Seoul life and be in nature and experience something new myself. Yes, it is physically draining traveling with the kids, but creating these special memories with them makes it all worth it. And I do wish my kids will remember Korea as a beautiful, kind, and fun place.

My hope is that this information will be helpful for expat families that are currently living in Korea or families that are planning to visit. And as for me, this will be a good way to keep track of fun family memories and share what we love about Korea with friends near and far.
Thank you for visiting!
I also would love to hear from you!
